What does having a joy of life mean to you and what is really the meaning of life?
These are questions we very rarely find a simple answer to and the answer is almost never the same for two individuals. At the same time I consider the answers to these two questions to be closely linked together. If you find the joy of life you can let it guide you towards the meaning of your life.
So how do you find the joy of life then? Start by defining what joy means to you. Who or what brings you joy and gives you positive energy? Maybe it is a partner, a good friend, family member or your children? Maybe to you, joy means waking up happily wide awake in the morning, that you feel like you make a difference at work, that you enjoy your afternoon runs in the fresh air or that you feel an enormous joy raising your kids into unique individuals. Whatever it is that brings you joy, how can you do more of that? How could you make sure to spend more time with people that bring you joy?
Another way can be defining the opposite. Who or what makes you feel tired, drained, low, bored or uninspired? Maybe it’s not possible to totally eliminate, but what can you do to reduce your time spent on the things or people that steal from your joy?
Sometimes it’s just not that easy. Sometimes it can be hard to tell what boosts and what drains your energy, but one way to start is putting it into words, becoming aware of it. Why not start by daily writing down the things that bring you joy or make you feel grateful and reflect on what energy thieves you allow into your life.
Often fears and our own limiting beliefs can put a spanner in the works. Often we know deep down what we truly want and long for, but we don’t dare to believe that it could become a reality. Maybe we doubt our capabilities or worry what others will think. “I couldn’t do that”, “What would my mum/boss/neighbours say?!” or ” I don’t have what it takes”.I invite you to challenge that thought, because I know that you can do hard things if you decide to, truly want to and then do the work.
I know that an inner journey can be hard to do alone, so that’s why I would like to help you! Now until August 31st I’m offering summer prices on coaching 30 minutes (discovery call) 28€ and 60 minutes 68€. The coaching sessions are online, which means you can work on becoming the best version of yourself from your patio or holiday home (as long as there is internet) and then be ready for new challenges this autumn. You don’t have to know exactly what you want, we can explore that together.
Do you feel a strong desire for a positive change in your life? Are you ready to start exploring all that is you and finding your way back to yourself and your joy of life? I’m here for you!
You can email me on jennicalassila@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to book your first session and then we’ll take it from there.
